About the role:

Bromley Beacon Academy, part of London South East Academies Trust, is an all through Social, Emotional and Mental Health School (SEMH) offering a specialist educational provision to pupils in Key Stages 1 to 5 who have an EHCP or Statement for SEMH as their primary need.

An inspiring and adaptable Deputy Headteacher is required to support the Headteacher in driving the school forward and raising standards in teaching and learning within the secondary provision of the Academy. Experience of working as a middle/senior leader within a similar (SEMH or Alternative Provision) or secondary mainstream setting is essential to the role as well as the ability respond to a rapidly changing and complex environment.

In addition, the successful candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, the ability to engage, influence, and gain the commitment of all stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for the students.

Supported by the Headteacher and senior leadership team, this exciting and challenging role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our children and their families and develop within a successful multi-academy Trust working with other experienced senior leaders.
