London South East Academies Trust is seeking an exceptional individual to join our Midfield Campus in a unique dual-role position combining pastoral support and physical education delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people by helping them overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and achieve success both in and out of the classroom.

About the Role

Working across the school, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' engagement, wellbeing and personal development.

In the mornings, you will provide targeted mentoring and intervention programmes, working closely with pupils who require additional support. Using restorative approaches, you will help young people develop resilience, improve attendance and engagement, and achieve positive outcomes.

In the afternoons, you will plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons, creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where pupils can develop physical skills, confidence and teamwork through sport.

  • Has the enthusiasm and commitment to support young people to achieve their full potential.

Why Join Us?

At London South East Academies Trust, we are committed to transforming lives through education. You will join a dedicated team focused on supporting pupils with a range of individual needs and helping them achieve success in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

About Us

About Us

At Bromley Trust Academy, we believe in the potential of every young person. Across our three campuses – we provide a supportive and high-quality education tailored to each pupil’s needs. Our dedicated staff work closely with pupils and their families to identify need, help them re-engage with learning, overcome barriers and achieve success.

At our Midfield Campus, we provide primary-aged children with a stimulating learning environment, building confidence and independence. Preparing them for their next steps - whether this is into a specialist provision or a return to mainstream school.

At our Hayes Campus, we work with 11–16-year-olds who have been permanently excluded (or are at risk of exclusion). We help pupils rebuild confidence and achieve industry-relevant qualifications to progress successfully into further education or an apprenticeship.

At our Blenheim Provision, we support pupils in Years 10–11 who are part of CAMHS, providing a calm and nurturing environment where they can thrive academically and emotionally. Across all our campuses, we celebrate achievements and focus on preparing our pupils for life beyond school.

About the Trust

London South East Academies Trust is a growing and ambitious Multi-Academy Trust, currently comprising mainstream, special and alternative provision academies, alongside an outreach service and a music hub. Our schools are located across Bromley, Bexley, Sussex, Lambeth and Surrey, serving a wide range of communities and educational contexts.

Across the Trust, our schools share a strong commitment to raising attainment, encouraging aspiration and supporting social mobility for every pupil, throughout their educational journey and beyond. We take a holistic but personalised approach to education, recognising that children thrive when their individual strengths, needs and circumstances are properly understood and supported. This enables pupils to flourish and achieve their full potential, whatever their starting point.

We believe that great schools are built by great people. As a Trust, we invest in our staff through strong professional development and leadership opportunities, clear expectations and supportive structures. We actively encourage collaboration and the sharing of best practice across schools, supported by high-quality, cost-effective central services that allow leaders and teachers to focus on what matters most: improving outcomes for pupils.

London South East Academies Trust sits within the Elevare Civic Education Group, which also includes a multi-campus further and higher education college, London South East Colleges and a charitable foundation, Elevare Education Foundation. This unique structure provides meaningful progression pathways for pupils and families, as well as broad development and career opportunities for staff across the wider Group.

Our teams are united by a shared belief in the power of education to change lives. By continuing to grow our Trust and welcoming new expertise and perspectives, we aim to strengthen our schools further and extend the positive impact we have on our communities.
