About the role:

 Post Title:                           Midday Interactive Play Leader  (ASD with complex needs)

Post Location:                    Colyers Lane, Erith, Kent, DA8 3PB

Position Status:                 Initially Fixed Term 1 year contract with potential to become permanent

Contractual Hours:            2 hours per day (between 11:30-14:00 Mon- Fri)

Contractual Weeks:           Term Time (38 weeks per year) 

Post Start Date:                  September 2025

Closing Date:                      Thursday 10th July 2025

Your Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Interactive Play Leaders to complete our team.  You would be responsible for the safety and welfare of the children during the school lunch time break. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication interpersonal skills.  Experience of working with children with special needs, including those with autism, is essential. The successful candidates will join a friendly, supportive team with opportunities for further training. This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking experience in schools and hoping to progress into a teaching assistant role.
